The HCA Learning Pathways provide mission-aligned learning experiences for people and organizations ready to lead change with care. Every course is grounded in equity-centered practice and human systems thinking, designed to build leaders who inspire trust, foster collaboration, and guide transformation with clarity and compassion.

In 2025, we launch the Human-Centered Agility's Foundations Track, a core series focused on the essential skills needed to build adaptability, strengthen trust, and lead with resilience in today’s complex environments.

The HCA Foundations Track is where the Journey Begins. 

This track is designed for those who want to strengthen resilience and adaptability while leading in complex environments. Through accessible, high-impact courses, you’ll learn to balance empathy with courage, translating values into everyday action.

HCA Pathways Overview 

From Foundations to Mastery

The Human-Centered Learning Pathways are designed as a three-level journey. Each stage builds on the last, giving you immediate tools today and preparing you for professional certification programs in the future.

  • Level I: Foundations
    Introductory certifications that build essential skills in empathy, equity, resilience, and facilitation. These stand alone as valuable credentials you can apply right away.

  • Level II: Advanced Certifications
    Additional, specialized training programs that deepen your practice. Each Level II course carries its own certification, building your capacity to integrate human-centered practices at greater scale.

  • Level III: Professional Programs (Launching 2026)
    The Human Systems Facilitator (HSF) and Human Systems Coach (HSC) programs. These comprehensive, multi-module experiences will include:

    • Advanced training in human systems leadership, coaching, and facilitation.

    • Applied capstone projects where learners demonstrate mastery by leading real-world change.

    • Professional certification upon successful completion.

Agile That Works

Championing agility that adapts to people, teams, and culture

 Certification: People-First Agile Champion — Level I

Course Description:


Agile succeeds when it works for the people, not just the process. In this Level I certification, you’ll learn how to apply Agile in ways that are effective, inclusive, and deeply human. Grounded in HCA’s people-first philosophy, the course explores the cultural, emotional, and practical dimensions of agility so you can create Ways of Working that teams trust, embrace, and sustain.

Through interactive workshops and your personalized Agile EQ® profile, you’ll uncover how emotional intelligence shapes your collaboration style and learn to flex for greater impact. By the end, you’ll be equipped to champion agility that strengthens trust, adaptability, and inclusion across teams and organizations.

Managing Change with Empathy & Equity

Certification: Human-Centered Change Agent — Level I

Course Description:

 

Change succeeds when it honors both the operational goals and the human experience. This Level I certification equips you to lead change initiatives with empathy, equity, and clarity ensuring solutions aren’t just implemented, but embraced.

Through practical tools, real-world casework, and your personalized MBTI® Insights profile, you’ll explore how personality preferences influence how you approach change both as a leader and in how others respond. You’ll learn how to flex your style to better engage stakeholders, navigate resistance, and foster trust during times of transition.

The course blends HCA’s change management practices with equity-centered leadership, helping you design and deliver transformation in ways that strengthen both people and performance.

Building Organizational Resilience

Build cultures that thrive even in uncertainty
Certification: Cultural Resilience Champion — Level I

Course Description:

 

Resilience is the foundation of cultures that endure and grow through change. In this Level I certification, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to strengthen organizational resilience, address toxic dynamics, and build trust that lasts.

Grounded in HCA’s human-centered philosophy, this course blends theory, case studies, and hands-on practice using the Learn → Ask → Apply model. You’ll master 12 core resilience capabilities from mental and emotional awareness to leadership agility and apply them through interactive workshops, Mural collaboration, and real-world simulations.

At the heart of this program is the Thriving Zone™ framework, a practical tool that helps individuals, teams, and organizations recognize when they are at their best and how to return there when facing challenges.

By the end, you’ll not only understand what it takes to build resilience at every level, but you’ll also be recognized as a Cultural Resilience Champion, ready to create healthier, more adaptive, and more human-centered workplaces.

Safe to Soar

Building Trust in Times of Uncertainty
Grounded in Resilience. Ready for Turbulence.

Course Description:

 

In times of uncertainty, trust and psychological safety are the foundation of resilience, collaboration, and innovation. Safe to Soar is a dynamic two-part workshop designed to help leaders and teams create the conditions where people feel secure to speak up, take risks, and grow together even in turbulence.

Anchored in the HUMAN Model, this program blends evidence-based insights with interactive practice. Through the HUMAN Safety Lab, participants will experiment with trust-building behaviors, explore how turbulence impacts human responses, and co-create actionable commitments to strengthen collaboration.

By the end of the program, participants will leave not just with knowledge, but with practiced skills, shared agreements, and a clear plan for sustaining trust and safety when it matters most.

What You’ll Gain:

  • How to recognize signals of psychological safety and signals of threat in your workplace.

  • The role of emotional ownership and co-ownership in building trust.

  • Practical micro-behaviors leaders can use to model safety and resilience.

  • How to co-create a Team Trust Charter to guide team norms and behaviors.
