This Program Is Built for You If...

You sit at the intersection of people, Artificial Intelligence, and multi-cultural generations. You know the way we work needs to change and you're ready to be the one who leads that change. You want the skills to make both people and systems work better for today and for what's coming next.

This program is a strong fit if you are:

  • A people manager or team lead looking to build more inclusive, psychologically safe environments
  • An HR or L&D professional navigating AI, workforce change, and evolving employee expectations
  • An emerging leader who wants to understand the human side of organizational effectiveness
  • An organizational buyer looking to develop people-centered leadership capacity across your team

This program welcomes professionals from all backgrounds coordinators, community leaders, educators, managers, and beyond.

What You'll Gain

This isn't just professional development. It's a shift in how you lead, how you show up, and how you shape the environments around you.
  • The language and frameworks to lead conversations across inclusion & belonging, neurodiversity, cultural competency, and mental health-informed leadership and actually be heard

  • The confidence to address psychological safety and burnout directly before they become crises your organization can't recover from

  • A neuroscience-informed approach to navigating organizational change without losing your people in the process

  • Practical strategies for ethical AI and Future of Work practices in real workplace settings not just in theory

  • A professional portfolio that demonstrates applied leadership, ready to show employers, clients, or your own organization

This Is What Leadership Development Should Have Been All Along.

Most programs speak to slides. This one speaks to people.

The People Experience & Organizational Effectiveness Pathway is a 12-week experiential learning journey that prepares professionals to support modern workplaces, strengthen team engagement, and contribute to sustainable organizational performance.

Through hands-on learning, you'll build capabilities across two interconnected areas.  Modern Ways of Working  (MWoW) and the Future of Work (FoW). From emotional intelligence, psychological safety, and mental health–informed leadership to ethical AI, inclusive workplace design, and emerging workforce trends. You'll develop the skills to create environments where people don't just show up. They thrive.

By the end of the program, you will:

  • Design and implement strategies that strengthen team engagement and organizational effectiveness
  • Apply emotional intelligence and mental health–informed leadership to build psychologically safe, inclusive teams
  • Analyze workforce responses to change and apply neuroscience-informed approaches to reduce resistance
  • Evaluate and apply Future of Work concepts and ethical AI practices in real workplace settings
  • Demonstrate career readiness through applied simulations, reflective practice, and a professional portfolio
  • Become eligible to sit for the Neuroscience for Change certification exam

The future of work demands leaders who understand people first

Hi, I'm Britt Smith, Founder of Human Centered Agility and creator of The DIG Framework.

I'm also the person who will be on this journey with you for all 12 weeks of this program.

HCA is a nonprofit organization. That means this work isn't driven by profit targets or shareholder interests. It's driven by one belief: that people deserve to work in environments where they can actually thrive and that building those environments is a skill that can be taught, practiced, and led.

I didn't come to this work through a textbook. I came to it through experience.

For years, I was the person organizations called when teams were struggling the "problem teams" others had given up on. What I found, every single time, wasn't underperformance. It was untapped potential sitting inside environments that lacked trust, belonging, and psychological safety.

I learned early long before I ever held a leadership title what it means to survive without belonging. That lived experience shaped everything I now know about what people actually need to show up fully at work.

So I stopped managing people toward metrics. I started building the conditions where people could lead themselves. And the results followed.

"The work will get done. It's the environment in which the work is created that determines its lasting impact."

— Britt Smith, Founder, Human Centered Agility

I founded HCA because I kept seeing the same gap. Organizations investing in systems, frameworks, and technology while the humans inside those systems burned out, disengaged, and ultimately left.

The People Experience & Organizational Effectiveness Pathway is my answer to that gap. It's not a generic Human Resource course. In fact, I don't think humans are resources. This is a 12-week journey  drawing on the same neuroscience-informed, emotionally intelligent, human-first approach that sits at the core of everything HCA does.

When you join this cohort, you're not getting a curriculum. We don't read slides. We transform. And you're getting direct access to a framework built from the ground up for workplaces that are ready to tackle today's challenges with people at its center.

A Note On Who We Are

Human Centered Agility is a 503(c) nonprofit foundation. We don't exist to generate returns. That's not our style. We exist to advance a movement. Every program we offer, every cohort we facilitate, and every framework we build is in service of one mission: making leadership development accessible.

That's why scholarship funding exists. Because we believe access to this kind of leadership development shouldn't depend on what someone can afford.

When you complete this program, you walk away with credentials that travel with you.
